Make him cut the grass

A business owner complained to 48th Ward Democratic Committeeman Bob Remer about the overgrown lawn next door to his property.

Remer told the guy there really wasn’t anything he could do about that.

“Well, I paid for that grass to be cut,” the man angrily answered.

Apparently, he had paid Remer’s predecessor, Martin Tuchow (who had been sentenced to jail for corruption) to get the neighbor to cut the grass.
