Where to see "justice"
Protesters were demanding “justice” in a confrontation with 3rd Ward Alderman Tyrone Kenner. He responded by telling them if they wanted to see justice they should go to Traffic Court. “You’ll see justice there,” Kenner said. “Just us.”
Kenner was convicted in 1983 of bribery, sentenced to five years in federal prison, and ordered to resign from the Chicago City Council. But he was allowed to retain his position as 3rd Ward Democratic Committeeman.
